Elysha
Vorstenbosch
…a distant singing harp…
…boisterous laughter…
…tip-tapping feet…
…a glowing, dimpled smile....
There’s no denying Elysha’s love for music is infectious. Whether she is teaching private students, leading group workshops, composing a new harp suite, performing harp arrangements, or learning about the rich history of the harp, Elysha brings forth an inquisitive and playful attitude. From her studies with Sharlene Wallace at Wilfrid Laurier University, Elysha believes that music is:
-
an experience of emotions drawn out from the depths of your soul.
-
a shared connection, a means of communication between your inner thoughts and others.
-
a communal opportunity to learn and share differing perspectives on the world around us.
-
a story waiting to be told and heard.
Through her musical creations, both composed and improvised, Elysha draws on her love of storytelling, her perspective and experiences of the world around her, and exploring the possibilities of what the lever harp can do.
A moment of infectious joy in your life awaits!
